Which movie adaptation did not live up to it's book?

And which one really did?
Lord of the Rings is the most impressive adaptation I've seen...most don't come close to the book

The Lord of the rings didn't. If I remember well.

Headhunters followed book very well.

Although Lord of the Rings looked exactly like the way I imagined it they were really crappy movies. And The Hobbit was even worse.

My sisters keeper didn’t. I was pissed.

@Montanaman I have witnessed many complain about 50 shades.

The Bridges of Madison County is so very beautiful. I mean the actors did so much justice to the characters.

Don't really know...I'm not much of a reader so I have never read the books.
