Do you read/enjoy poetry?

If so, who's your favorite poet?

I've always been more of a prose-reader than a consumer of verse, but I'd like to read more. Everything I've read by T.S. Eliot has been great, as well as Ezra Pound. The modernists deliver again. :)
yea, i enjoy poetry but im not the best at understanding all the intended meanings

I fogot the dudes name but i like just about everything in the book The Flowers of Evil.

I read poetry occasionally, and moreover, I write poetry - but in German, not in English...

I have read all of Shakespeare's sonnets (in English and in German), I have also read many poems by Goethe and other authors.

I do at times. Mostly when it resonates and relates to something within. Not just for the sake of it or if it's too verbose.

My favorite poet is André Bjerke, which is a shame as his poems are all 100% Norwegian

Rupi Kaur is pretty good though

Eliot is brilliant. I’ve been quoting Prufrock around here the last few days. I also like Wallace Stevens, WH Auden and ee cummings.

Heinrich Hoffman (parodied in several US cartoons).

Also enjoy The Pied piper of Hamelin by Browning (for it's many (to me) comedic lines) and finally Dr Seuss.
