Who is your favourite author?

I personally find Edgar Rice Burrows, the creator of Tarzan and John Carter, to be my favourite author. He just has a way with telling stories in such a simple but deep way that I have never found in any other piece of literature.

That's interesting, and good to know his work is still being admired. I have read one, but saw many of the old Tarzan movies. The one called Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes is supposed to be one of the most faithful to the books.
