Is it a good idea to get a tattoo in the summer?

It's recommended to keep a new tattoo out of sunlight whilst its healing as the sun bleach the colour out or if you get burnt and it peels the tattoo can crack the work.

I'm sure you'll be fine doing so but be mindful of where you have it.

i would suggest a cooler time of year, but lots of people get them in the summer.

Probably not because you'll have to keep it out of the sun for awhile.
