How can one have a favourite book? There are many books that I dislike but it is impossible to put those I like in rank order.
But here are a few out of the thousands that I have read that I like a lot, love would be better. In no particular order, I think most are well enough known to not need the author's name:

Carpe Jugulum
Good Omens
The Hogfather
Lots of Jeeves and Wooster stories

The Caves of Steel, Robots of Dawn series
