When you vote. Do you choose the ideological authoritarian on the right, or the ideological authoritarian on the left?

Interesting question.

My politics are libertarian left so I'd go for the authoritarian left as a lesser evil if I had to choose. The lack of liberty would be troubling but at least people wouldn't be starving.

As an example Of compare the USSR in the post war period to what it's like in Russia now. It was an awful system in many ways but it did provide a safety net. Russian make life expectancy declined by a decade on the years after the wall came down. Putin's nation has squandered oil money to buy yachts for oligarchs.

If you’re looking for a perfect person who has no ideas you disagree with, and no skeletons in their closet, you will be looking for a very long time.

I don't vote for any "authoritarian" anyone, both are annoying no offense. 😂

I would vote but I go off many factors. I would vote for an independent most likely but it doesn't matter if they are conservative or liberal. I would vote based on what they say about issues and events surrounding.

I think that voting one way or the other just leads to constant establishments being in power and I'm not about that.
