I Hate Child Abuse

It's amazing how much abuse continues in the foster care system. You report suspected abuse, thinking you're helping get a kid out of a dangerous situation only to find that they ended up in an equally bad or worse environment. Not always, but it's common enough. In a way, I think they should just start the process of emancipation once they're 12 if they're with the State. Train them and set up programs to employ and house them so that by the time they're 15, they can go take care of themselves. Because what's going on now isn't any good.

Because people aren't keeping track. The kids get dumped somewhere that wasn't properly checked out. They continue on a cycle that ruins their lives until they get real help fixing it, if they ever do.

suzie1960, you could give me proof about this one person we're talking about? Or you mean case examples you actually can't give? Other people's situations that you decided applied to this one? That's called projecting. And for your future reference, "I have proof but I can't show it" equals you have no proof. No facts.

Stereotyping is a lot of the problem. The authorities are blind to facts that don't fit their pre-concieved ideas.
