I Have a Crush
This is a curiosity.
I know this site is a virtual reality so having a crush on someone is a rather silly concept. Yet it happens and has happened.
And I will freely admit it's my fault. I let my guard down and *BOOM* I'm crushing.
Okay I'm a big boy I know the rules but eh I'm human so what do you want. Now if I keep things to myself the crush fades away in a couple of days tops. Once in a while one has a extended life. Then things become complicated. That's when distractions ride to the rescue.
So I'm learning to bring reality in as quickly as possible to dampen the enthusiasm. Things like "she may be married" "she may be a serial killer" "what if she starts acting like your ex?" "she's only being friendly - don't read too much into it" and so on and so forth.
And this is before things get complicated?....
You can imagine what it's like for me in real life.....sheesh.
