Movie pet peeves?

I hate when the actor is texting and we have to read their screen text.

Hate it even more when the text comes up as a huge text bubble on the screen 馃挰
Using the same composer across several films.

Computer menus accessing anything governmental or technical are always flashy and over embellished, resembling a 9th graders graphic arts project.

Remakes of a remake.

Cliched, and clumsy plot devices.

@SethGreene531 The computer bits always get me. Like how they'll type endlessly to do something and not even use the mouse.

@Thevy29 lol!
@Thevy29 Too funny. Not a track ball or stylus in sight. They arent even in a DOS screen using commands either.

And invariably make blips and bloops on EVERY key stroke. What is this, Buck Rogers??

I don't like when the movie is too dark for ambience because then I can't see as well as I want to and can't understand what's going on. I also don't like when the actors whisper so low that I can't understand what they're saying.

Then you turn up the volume so you can hear and the next scene has music that's entirely too loud.

@minxy Oh, I hate that too! I think actors shouldn't whisper that quietly. Or there should be subtitles at least.

Unnecessary bedroom romps - Quite often they add a sex scene to make up for shitty dialogue.

Or not caring about wounds they receive. Bad guys get hit and die instantly but the heroes manage to survive and shrug off the pain like its nothing.

@Thevy29 yess. I just fast-forwarded thru one. Pointless and doesn't add anything unless there is major character development. This was the first episode!

Sometimes the "Build-up," or "Dramatic Climb," is too corney or forced.

I can only imagine how hard it would be to come onto the set and be directed to just jump into that mode where something big is happening or about to happen, and to make it appear natural.

Sometimes I can pick up on that maybe being first take of the shooting schedule that day or shot so far out of sequesnce on the story line that it almost doesn't fit.

The background music is always trying to tell me how to feel. 馃槫

How quickly texts get to the other person.

It can take up to two minutes for a text to get to someone I am sending it to when we're in the same room.

One character not asking the other character obvious questions that a person would typically ask and instead (for plot purposes) doesn't bother to explain anything.

I can not stand that. Especially when almost a whole conversation pops up as a text.

Other than that, the Wilhelm Scream gets on my nerves. It was kinda funny for a while, but now it's just too much

@SarahAndSamantha yeaaa, shouldn't have watched this
