Pls suggest me a quality mystery movie

Double Indemnity (1944). An insurance salesman and a guy's wife want to kill the guy and collect his life insurance. Film Noir at its best!

The first two that come to mind are "Rear Window" and "Vertigo".

Some good suggestions here. I'll add a few of my own:

[i]The Machinist[/i] with Christian Bale. I find many people don't know about this movie.

[i]Shutter Island[/i] is one with a nice twist ending that I enjoyed.

Some good older ones are Ingmar Bergman's [i]Persona[/i] and Alfred Hitchcock's [i]Vertigo[/i].
