@SW-User A true classic! And the story about how it was written and came to life is just as inspiring.

The Lord of the Rings, because it's intense, beautiful, with amazing characters and a plot that made you feel, not just watch.🧙
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@SilkandLace2 I didn't know Denny's did that theme🍳🥞!
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@Coralmist right before the first Hobbit, I didn't even know somehow, my Dennys all time favorite, "Moons Over My Hammy" became some other name, lol, we feasted that day, then i feasted on the movies!!

@SilkandLace2 Nice😌

Schindler's List. The main character is a crook, a criminal who had every reason to comply with the NAZIS, instead he went virtually bankrupt doing everything he could to keep people alive, and defy the NAZIS to save life. I really admire that, for all the bad he did when the time came he stepped up and did the right thing. I think I admire it even more because I'd probably have run a mile, I mean the moment they started clearing the Jews out of the Ghetto I'd have been trying to figure out the easiest way to run back to Hungary, but he didn't, instead he stayed and saved the lives of his workers.

@waleskinder a house in a day , lot of workers on it
@waleskinder this one’s on television all the time where I am and I’m still surprised that some people have never seen it. Classic!

@waleskinder That was so beautiful! I have always admired the Amish. They are good God believing people. Honest and hard working with great principles for living cleanly. They are very independent and industrious. I need to watch this and thanks for posting.☺️

The labyrinth. I like fantasy and I like the 80’s. This movie is the perfect mixture and although it’s a bit heavy on the musical side,Bowie delivers.
Fauxmyope2 · 26-30, F
So many of the Christmas movies. I love the Christmas season and most have happy endings.

It’s A Wonderful Life. It teaches us that no matter how far we go down, there are more people that love us, than we may never have known.☺️

[c=#666666]Sneakers - Robert Redford, James Earl Jones.[/c]

Against the haunting backdrop of an alluring score; the misfit turns the hero.
To wage a silent war of anarchy; tipping the balance of power.

Thoughtful, and compelling. Artfully low-tech; a masterful work of genius.

@bijouxbroussard I think I have this one on Laser Disc(LBX) and DVD as well. Not sure if it's on BR. And yes, I have asked people to yell "Ecclesiastical!"

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Redford and Newman at the top of their game, need I say more? One of the first buddy pictures, if not THE first. Funny, with tons of action and plenty of smartass quotable lines from here to Bolivia.
