I Believe Our Healthcare System Is Greedy and Corrupt

does anyone really want Medicare for all? It would add 32 trillion to the debt and raise taxes for everyone. I’m sorry but my family of 5 brings in 20k a year. We can not afford a tax increase for Medicare for all. Yes I have medicaid so technically I pay nothing for healthcare. I believe Medicare for all would be very dangerous for this country. The poor class and middle class would hurt badly with a tax increase to pay for such a plan.

I think the absolute poor. Like those earning less then 40k a year. Especially families with kids should have benefits like Medicaid. Believe it or not there a lot of less fortunate people that works very hard 40-50 hrs a week but are very low income and need help to get by. People that make 100k a year of course they can afford insurance.@MarkPaul

No I’m saying people that can afford it should pay for healthcare. The absolute poor should not have to pay for it. I’m a Republican yes but I have a bipartisan opinion on the absolute poor. That depends on food stamps and Medicaid to get by. Now if we stop giving illegals Medicaid and food stamps. We could expand Medicaid and food stamps for more Americans that need them@MarkPaul

here no matter what you went to college for the only jobs around are burger flipping or retail jobs. very few make the astrominal pay of 40 grand a year. most are making ten grand or less then a year here.

@trackboy damn I made better than 70k a year driving a truck. No college degree just hard work. Guess I'm old school worked hard and didn't get something for nothing

@Baremine I know people with masters degrees and phds flipping burgers. nbc news had stories on ivy league graduates the only job they could find was as starbucks barista. saw on the news a guy with a big sign. mit graduate will do any job. now with nafta the Mexicans are taking over truck driving and its Mexicans driving the trucks on our highways. 😺

@trackboy yeah I agree on the mexican truckers. The democrates have regulated us out of a job. But maybe the problem is the ba/mba and no job. My son is a master tech with Ford. High school diploma no college 70k a year. College does not teach you how to work. Mcdonalds does.

@trackboy that is what I am saying. The trade school I went to to be a diesel mech had a motto " He who hath a trade hath an estate." I have never had a problem having a job because I can work with my hands.

@Baremine here the auto mechanics get paid ten a hour and they have to pay 20 grand for their tools out of their pay. and the hvac techs also get just ten a hour here. 😺[u][/u]

@trackboy I don't know where you are but here in kansas a master tech gets $25+ an hour at a dealer. Power companies $30 plus time and a half plus benefits.

@Baremine read about it all over the country. in flordia a air line advertised for airline attendants. 100,000 people applied for the job. 😺 local talk radio show host was talking about that.
