Panicky phone calls from a client unable to find a piece of legal paperwork they’d supposedly sent me.
I searched everything from notes I’d scribbled to reports I’d completed.
Even checked postal/courier deliveries received.......I hadn’t received it and now I could prove it !
Two hours later, cue grovelling apology !
Wrong client !
Didn’t even know which client they were talking about !! 🙄
I get days like this. Somebody else’ panic so it must be my fault !
Should have quit this nonsense years ago !

There was a work van illegally parked across the walkway in front of my house this morning, making it really dangerous for me to get my kid home safely. Then an employee came out and sighed and tutted at me for partially blocking the pavement while I looked for a way around. 🙄 I did a bit of an angry mutter at the workmen and then fired off an email to the company. The van was indeed illegally parked and has now been moved. So that’s a small win for today, but man was I annoyed!
