Not the entire "force" per se. Some individuals, however, have really let having some authority go to their head. There are a couple of men in our university town who pull over pretty girls who are driving alone, especially at night. It a scary experience and this is what these guys are looking for...to intimidate. If you give them attitude they use this as an excuse to cuff you and run their hands up and down one's body and even up the skirt...in search of "weapons." Complaints fall on deaf ears. We've taken to driving at night in groups as a result and having a GoPro cam mounted in the car.

[c=#4C0073] The police themselves aren't the problem; it's this clannish almost cult like protective attitude they have towards those who do wrong. If you kill an unarmed man who isn't attacking you in the military you are subject to court martial; yet, our domestic protection agencies are allowed to go Scott free. That's a big problem.[/c]
