Happy endings in movies always make my eyes well up, and when one of my family takes the time to make me a special birthday gift, whether it's a card, or a batch of my favourite cookies, or a meal. I cry with joy and gratitude that I'm so loved.

@Serenitree: Oh wow. You have to. But be prepared with a box of tissues. Awesome movie.

@sarabee1995: I'm quite sure it's on Netflix. If not I think I'll probably find it on YouTube. I keep a box of tissues right by my chair. Thanks for the warning.

I have to say I'm really schizophrenic about that. I have cried from the infinite luxury of a profound moment but not that happy really defines it. More like knowing that I was standing in a moment of experience where the profound meaning of the life or lives effected...or will be effected was so far reaching. That even though I maybe wasn't even part of it that I was standing in some way, a sort of time meaning corridor. An unforgettable place like an invisible landmark within infinitely indescribable time and space.

Sometimes the depth of the thought exceed the limits of what my emotions are able to find a way to tell me what I'm feeling. They rush over me like a tsumani and it makes my eyes get all watery. Once or twice I even had to wipe aside a drop of tear. Very rare and very internal moments of gratitude for being allowed to be alive and see that shit.

No, I only cry from sadness or physical pain like a beating.

I cried from happiness yesterday when I was watching a game, Wilson threw the ball to Doug Baldwin and then Doug Baldwin threw the ball back to Wilson for a touchdown...it was probably the most beautiful scene I ever saw
