From a womans point of view ?

If you were friends with this woman 5 years ago and you didnt see her since then and she was a great help around problems and situations , arriving at her door after 5 years would you find it a bit extreme ?
She said to me if I was in distress to come back to her but now 5 years later I'm in distress Do you think I should call to her or would you find it using her and I'm not a user it's just my thinking thinks that way
