As you've aged, have you grown more or less tolerant of others?

Do you find people exhausting as you age?

I think it’s that I’ve become more discerning as well as less needy for acceptance. I don’t feel the need to appease people I don’t like.

@anonymouslyyours ooo thank you

Ive always been very accepting and tolerant....but i am finding myself a bit less so as i age..

Yes....i do find people exhausting...
"but i am finding myself a bit less so as i age..Yes....i do find people exhausting..." Same.@RubySoo
More, but it’s not as simple as that. I understand people more. I don’t dislike them for surface flaws, I dislike them for who they are now.

I've grown much more understanding and accepting of others differences but yes, i find certain people now very exhausting.

i've learned better avoidance techniques, and also increased my tolerance level, somehow. it all comes together.

I'm tolerant, but sometimes the fact I can't always fix stupid in myself and others annoys me. 🙄

I literally hate most people and fall in love with introverted life more and more, so.....
Been there.@MoonlightLullaby

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I've always enjoyed solitude and just having a few friends, then I got really popular in high school and was like da fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go away, and started to find people really really really exhausting. But now, at the ripe old age of 32 I cant stand anybody. Go away. My grandmother summed it up, she said I like to help people but not have to actually get involved with them.

I do try.

Unfortunately there seems to be a type of person who not only doesn’t get that they don’t understand enough about which they hold such an illogical opinion, to make such a view understandable
But they don’t understand the concept of your objection !

I’m not very tolerant anymore. I have no patience for ding dongs.

definitely more tolerant. I can identify others bullshit much more quickly than I used to. It means I can hear it & move on as quickly as possible.

Often because I don't take it seriously I find the crap people talk entertaining

Probably more tolerant but when they are hateful, have nothing positive to add to the conversation, I will attack and with raw might!😊

You are always sweet and I admire that!🤗

More tolerant, . But I have to keep some distance from people. Mostly cause I need time for myself. To recharge my energy
Ah, the struggle of being an introvert, lol. I know it well.@SW-User
Less tolerant. I don't have years to waste on each and every idiot I come across. So I cut them off early.
I could adopt this philosophy in life.@canusernamebemyusername

Much less tolerant. Not with lifestyle choices but with actions and beliefs. Particularly when my life is personally impacted.
Less...

Not all... but that is because I have become more selective even with the shops I buy things from...

I’ve grown more immature and less accepting of others.
At times, I feel I've honestly regressed in this regard too. I've found myself subconsciously seeking ways to further minimize direct human interaction as much as possible, as if avoiding living obstacles.@SW-User
Way less tolerant of others. I’m a lot more assertive these days
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
99% of people are hypocrites. I ignore them.
Wiseacre · F
Less in some instances..more in others!
Both depending on the scenario
scabs · 51-55, T
I've gotten grumpier
