Be honest of those making thanksgiving dinner how many of you are actually also making breakfast?

My husband is insane


The pernil is going to take 5.5-6hrs to make plus the rice

I am doing laundry right now I don’t want to also make breakfast

Up at 6:30 am. Still having my coffee....Ham goes in the oven at 10 am for 2.5 hrs. While that is cooking I will be making....mashed potatoes...corn...green bean casserole...stuffing...deviled eggs...gravy and pies. Then pack it all up and take to house bound inlaws for 2 pm late afternoon lunch!

@saragoodtimes When it comes to pancakes, I used to make small ones. I wnet to a restaurant that served plate size ones and I decided I prefer them that way.

I use two big frying pans on the stove. Two is a nice meal.

@saragoodtimes There is stuff all over the place to eat . They made a breakfast casserole that smells good and we brought a ton of crispy cream donuts. These kids live 90 miles from any large town ... so they are a big hit with them . I just like a little tea and my pie . 😉

Breakfast was Kroger's "Fruit on the Bottom" yogurt.

We told our usual list of 15-20 guests "not this year."

So we had Bratwurst, rice and cauliflower (covered with melted cheddar) for lunch and plan on Hamburgers from the grill for dinner.

Turkeys everywhere are rejoicing and now a pig (ham) has joined in as well....

Whenever I do Thanksgiving dinner I do not make breakfast. Might go to Starbucks or something when they open but generally the kitchen is occupied from about 4am on

That’s what I’m making for dinner

My mom is charged with making roasted potatoes because that’s what my son wants lol 😆 and a side salad and roasted veggies

But I’ve got the main course marinading now and I’ll head over to her house around 11 to pop it in the oven so it’ll be ready by dinner time
