Do you remember your very first place?

For the first 3 years we were married, my husband and I rented a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom basement apartment for just $800 a month. It was good enough until the kids were born...lol.

Oh yes. I've only lived in 3 (4?) places in my life.

House I was born in and lived in until 21.

First married house. Four bed town house which we thought was a ridiculous push for us to buy. We fitted a kitchen, showers etc

When my son was 18 months the stairs got too much so moved to where we are now 28 years ago.

I briefly had a small apartment in CT when I was working in the USA for a year but family stayed here and I commuted essentially.

🇺🇦🌻 i well remember my room in my parents' home... it's still "my room".

but now i live in my first apartment, bedroom, study, living area, kitchen, bathroom... and, i discovered this summer, roof garden.

it is on third level, above shop selling electronic devices and products, near centre of Kyiv. about 15/20 minutes to stroll to my university campus.
@Yulianna Sounds nice 😯...

@latinbutterfly 🙂 i love my apartment, i am very fortunate to have it.
A studio apartment on the top floor of a building in Pacifica. I could look out over the Bay from very high up. My rent was $240 per month. There was no rent control and when it increased to $400, I knew it was time to move. I moved in with my fiancé, who lived in SF.
My old building was in an area that suffered from soil erosion and was eventually torn down, 32 years after I’d moved away. This was how it looked in 2014:

I'll be turning 30 this year and we moved a lot in the past 30 years.

I don't remember the house where I was born but I do remember every place we moved to since the 3rd grade. We moved 6 times since then. We moved about 4 more times before that too and will be moving again this year lol.

Yes. I got rid of their roach problem. The plumbing was funky. I didn't trust the water. Still, I felt really free. (my rabbits chewed up the baseboards, so I learned something about rabbits too)

1 BR apartment , above the shop. Single glaze window and storage heaters, (it was very old) . The rent was £325 a month, and the place was freezing cold during winter. 🧐
