Do you remember catching a firefly?

I remember my friends would hit them with bats so they’d glow. I stopped hanging out with them for some reason.

Yes. The early evening used to light up with them sometimes, when I was a child. It was delightful and kind of 'magical' to me. I would catch some in a jar, with big air holes in the covering...just for the night.

I feel kind of bad, that I did that now. They rarely died or anything, but still. I've not seen even one, since I've been back living in this state where they used light up the night.

Uh... No...... I caught a wasp once.... Then squished it's ass.... Then it's buddies rushed me and my friend down until we got home.. ┴┬┴┤•ᴥ •ʔ/

Yes...And I remember smacking them out of the air using a ball bat.
