Is the content important to you or the author?

The content is important. The author is only relevant as a guidepost — this author has produced content that I enjoyed before, so I'm more willing to look at any new content they've produced.

Content.I have favourite authors who consistently write well,yet some little known authors can produce great books that only sell in small numbers.I have read several.
