Once. Years ago my friend at another university reported to me that the campus LGBT center had been vandalized. I visited him the weekend after when they were going to have a protest and I participated. "We're here, we're queer, so get the fuck over it" was one of the chants. I enjoyed it. Not much can move me to protest, but attacks on LGBT people and institutions can do it.
