My Philosophy On How to Be Happy In Life

All my life, I searched for happiness. Nevertheless, it escaped me. I searched every place I knew. What I learned, was that happiness is not something you find. It is something you create. Doing all the things you enjoy doing; whatever that entails. Here's the way I see it and live my life:

Always put God first.

Avoid abusive behaviors/controlling people.

Never let anyone determine your worth or plan your life. It's your life to live, not theirs.

Never be a people pleaser. You'll lose yourself.

Never be ashamed to get help for depression or other problems if you need it.

Appreciate what others do for you.

Be creative and artistic, enjoy a hobby or two.

Don't be afraid to take risks.

Be kind to people.

Smile. You may make someone's day.

Always be kind to animals. They are helpless.

Love your country.

Help the elderly and poor.

Focus on what you have in life, not what you've lost, and make your future count. It's what you do with what you have left, that counts. Give thanks for all.

Have fun.

Keep a positive mind.

Make time for yourself.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

Take the best care of yourself.

Stay true to yourself, and always tell yourself the truth. Not what you wish something to be, but see things the way they truly are.

Live life honestly, always.

Don't take advantage of people.

Do much good, and do your very best, so you have no regrets.

Stay away from negative influences and liars.

Build a future you'll be proud of. Education comes first, then your own place, a great job, then you're set. You'll always have yourself to fall back on.

Maintain an excellent reputation.

Be a keeper of your word.

Never speak badly of others or try to bring them harm.

Wish no one harm.

Don't sign contracts until an attorney reviews them, or else you've read every single word and understand it clearly.

Never go into business with family, or without having a mutually agreed upon contract, signed by all parties involved, especially "friends".

Always keep good business records in a special portfolio, and receipts.

Never cheat on your partner or business partner.

Keep a savings account.

Pay your bills first...and always on time.

Mind your own affairs.

Be a friend to all, unless they prove themselves incapable, sneaky, jealous, or dishonest.

Never loan money to those you suspect will never pay you back.

Never reward bad behavior.

Respect your parents.

Keep business and friendship separate.

List the "pros and cons" when making decisions.

Advice is good, but in the end, listen to your gut.

Be true to yourself, above all.

Never do anything you don't want to do.

Never apologize when you know you're right.

Know what you believe in, and why. If not, you'll fall for anything.

Love yourself. You're really all you have.

Never give up.

If you borrow something, bring it back, and in just as good shape as you found it, and not over 3 days.

When you're wrong, apologize.

Help around the house.

Encourage and support each other.

Stay off things that will harm your body or get you in trouble.

Face problems head on. They'll never go away until they are addressed and resolved. They'll just keep repeating themselves. This will also save your life from carrying around extra "baggage".

Those are just a few. If you always tell the truth, you'll never have to wiggle out of a lie.

Love and help others.

Say "Thank you".

I'm not ready to be social with others since I'm still developing my own skills and knowledge and trying to build a reputation so it's easier for me to be social with others. That's how the world see it right? It takes a while for me because what I'm searching is more than one thing at a time and more Pacific
@FreestyleArt Right.... you'll know when you're ready. Never force things.
