Has your pet ever scared a family member?

My Brother had come to stay with me over the October long weekend and whilst his 4 year old son was taking over my lounge room with lego. My brother was spending time in his room catching up on all the adult movies his been missing out on.
He closed the curtains to make the room dark but left the door open so his boy could come and go.
Unfortunately that meant my dog Loki could go and visit as well. Loki likes to sit there silently and stare at you until you pat him.
Sadly my brother was watching 'The Grey.' And when he noticed Loki in the room... The scream was deafening..馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ

A long time ago, when my brother's kids were young, we were playing with them out in the yard at my parents' place. It was a summer evening, nice but fairly dark.

Out in the yard was a drain hose that hadn't been buried yet. The yard butted up against the woods running down into a ravine, so it was dark and could be made easily creepy. I ran around after Jason, the oldest, who was maybe 6 at the time, telling him that the hose was a monster's tail and the monster was mad and he was coming up out of the woods to get his tail back oh look there he is! Jason laughed and ran around. It was fun.

A while later, my brother, his wife and kids started getting ready to go home. It was a warm summer evening, so they had left the windows in their car rolled down. Jason, being Jason, ran out to the car so he could be the first one in. Suddenly, he starts screaming and yelling and running back to the house.

Now, at this time, my parents had a cat that lived in the yard, an outdoor cat, which was pure black with green eyes. For cat reasons, she had jumped into the car and curled up on the deck under the rear window. Her glowing green eyes were the first thing Jason saw when he opened the car door.

I really think it scarred him for life, to be honest.

growing up we had a half-Doberman that didn鈥檛 warm up to women, he liked men though. One day my sister walked to the electric meter at the well to read it, had to walk through a small wooded area. The dog didn鈥檛 see her leave and she had on a different hat & jacket that morning, he nipped her on the butt thinking she was a stranger sneaking up into the yard.

My Rottweiler loves everyone, except my brother-in-law. If he sees him he barks like crazy and foams at the mouth a little. Only him, no one else. So yes, but more in a fear for their life thing
