Have you ever been electrocuted? ⚡

snofan · M
Nobody who replies here has been "electrocuted". Electrocution is final - like "Execution".
These people have had electric shocks, and survived. Completely different thing.
@snofan Yes. No need to take it literal.

@Kingfish28 well actually no you can get electrocuted without it being fatal. There is a park ranger up in Montana that got struck by lightening and LORD only knows how many volts passed through him and it SHOULD have been fatal but last I hear!d, he is still living today!
snofan · M
@DADDYDEAN Then he wasn't electrocuted
I was unaware. It was a defibrillator. So it may not be the same thing as actual electrocution.

I've been shocked, but I think electrocution requires death as a result, so no?

Twice, first time was when I touched a live wire in the boys room at high school after someone ripped the hand dryer out of the wall.
Second time I brought a stun gun and out of curiousity I zapped my leg and it flew me off the chair I was sitting in.

Short in a pump. Steel pipe was on the dogs tail and she was screaming. I went to lift it off and got knocked on my butt. Grabbed the garden hose and lifted it off her then shut the power off.

Yes. It almost killed me when I was a kid. I was holding a trouble light with a bare wire which my finger touched. I was standing barefoot on damp ground. I still have the scars in my little finger.

Not to that extent. A shock or two from static.
