Ever Drive Past the 'Old Place' ?

I did a 5k through my old neighborhood in June...suburban, 1960's cul-de-sac houses...and while most looked exactly the same, sadly mine was neglected. It's very sad...but, time marches on. When I was a kid we'd drive to the old neighborhood and my dad would say "lock the doors"....the houses they grew up in were trashed. Sometimes it's best to let the past sit for it's portrait.
