Wow.Here I thought feminism is about all genders having equal rights and opportunities and acknowledging the interplay between gender and other forms of discrimination, like race, age, class, socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability, gender or sexual identity, religion, or ethnicity. Believing in equal rights for all genders it’s not about hating men. It’s not about women being better than men but I guess it means a million things to a million people.

That's just one side of a much more multi-faceted ideology. Feminism isn't a monolith. I've made the mistake of lumping all of them together before and I was dead wrong. I'm not the biggest fan of modern feminism by any measure, but it would be intellectually lazy and dishonest to think they're all vindictive misandrists.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you feminism doesn't have toxic elements to it, but if you think this is all they have to offer, you're not paying enough attention. It's way more complex than that

You just don't run into people like that in real life (in America). We are too busy to be really passionate about anything. If you are hyper-passionate about something, you probably have to much time on your hands.

Some of them are for sure, it's easier to hide behind a structure of excuses than to take responsibility for yourself, and if your bitterness is justified to you then that's a bonus.

It's mostly the crazy disingeuous ones though.
