Sleeping on your stomach can reduce night terrors or exploding head syndrome. We all know what night terrors are and even adults can have them. The thing with exploding head syndrome is that you will some time hear a loud noise or some thing as you are falling asleep that will jar you or snap you awake. The other one is if you suffer from heart burn or acid problems try sleeping on your left side.

The left thing works. I have chronic pancreatitis and I end up on my left often.

I will definitely not sleep on my stomach even after learning this. I got tiddies, my dude.
@SW-User it is a general suggestion and there are ways that even us ladies can sleep comfortably on our stomach. The fact you took it as a chance to word it like that and be a moron about it speaks volumes. I hope you enjoyed it because you won't be commenting again on any of my posts.

I never heard this phrase "night terrors" untill a couple years ago. Why is it so popular now and everyone speaks as though this has always been the term for it.
@REMsleep A nightmare you can wake up from a Night Terror can last even after you wake up and cause potential cardiac arrest if bad enough.
