If someone was actually being bullied in public, would you help?

Once i was walking down the main street and this woman was at the ATM and a guy was yelling and hitting her. I ran up behind him and grabbed him thinking she'd have time to run away. But as it turned out they were in a relationship and she liked him yelling and hitting her, so she turned on me and started hitting me and yelling let him go!..so i ran and thought, never again will i get involved.

I would respond carefully, but undoubtedly, and according to the situation's level of safety on behalf of the abused. So yeah, I would do something about it... while avoiding personal physical harm to the best of my ability.

It depends who was bullying them. If it was young kids and the average looking teens then yes. If it was someone looking dangerous I would just hide and call the police.

yes. even if I get attack then it wouldn't matter for me to get beat up as long the one is alright.
