Have you ever fired anyone from their job?

Feels really bad. Can't bring myself to do it.

I do that all the time . When people chose to be rude, insubordinate, foul mouthed , or incompetent to the point that I am aware of it .., their ticket gets punched.

Yeah. And you're right it's not a nice feeling.

Yes, I've had to a couple of times. No, it's not easy. But I need to remember that my priorities are the business, and if he/she is costing the business money and isn't getting the help I hired him/her for, then there's no choice.

When laying people off, I could empathize.
Firing them, on the other hand, they "asked" for that. Most people don't get fired without prior warning; they knew that sh*t was coming LOL

It does feel bad, but the fact is it's nothing personal, the business has to come first..

Yes. I didn't enjoy it, but he had broken rules that meant he had to be fired.

Yes.Not nice but it is necessary.Underperforming, bad attendance, late, inaproppriate behaviour all need dealing with.
Salix75 · 46-50, F
yes, and it wasn't even because of anything she'd done. I felt like total crap for having to do it.

Yes, especially when it’s not performance related.

It really depends on why.
