Have u learned yet how to be ur own best friend?

I find if u value yourself, others cannot hurt u! Of course that is...if u allow them to...
It's true, but I haven't found it yet. The process first involves "knowing oneself" and then acceptance. Identity. Subscribing to whatever ideas are useful in-the-moment and making compromises to work with the boundaries and responsibilities we are each destined to face. "Knowing oneself" is a near-impossible accomplishment without first giving up addictions and addressing ones personal problems, while having support and self-regulation in doing so. Goal-setting. Direction. Self-preservation. Sacrifice. Risk-taking. Tender balances and constant dancing through hoops and reflecting and making plans and the mundane everyday chores necessary simply to sustain ones well-being. Eh, we all burn out anyway!! And will be forgotten!! So here's to another hit and another blast to oblivion. What a waste of time. There's so much to be done, and here I am, writing. It's okay. Like Borges wrote in "El suicida" (translation):
I bequeath nothingness to no one.
@Shewolfiie69 ahahah yeah thanks, I may be smart but I'm pretty ineffective so far lmao but I'm trying to pull myself out of my self-destructive tendencies.
If u chose to be true to yourself & ask yourself one question; how is this working for me? Whatever the issue! For me anyway...I was making things harder than they had to be! Good luck!!
@Shewolfiie69 thanks :)
This is good advice wolfie✌👌
