I don't know, as an outsider, but aren't there too many Democrats running for election?

TimSummers · M Best Comment
The more Democrats that run, the higher the possibility that Trump will win again
Zoranna · F
@TimSummers That's exactly what I was thinking. Hope I'm wrong.

HannahSky · F
It's their chance to get recognition, it'll clear out eventually and top runners will emerge

@DonaldTrumpet Interesting seeing as the democrats two main goals are taking guns and the genocide of 9 month old babies! Murdering Jews? Murdering Babies? Not much difference there huh!
@JT123 The left is textbook fascism! They are refuting their own revisionist version of history yet again by their actions! When they finally get to sleep in the bed they have made, I will be at their bedside gloating in a state of near nirvana!
monte3 · 70-79, M
There were too many. With no clear favorite too many thought what the hell I might have a chance. After Iowa and New Hampshire the field will shrink to manageable levels

Zoranna · F
@monte3 Yes, I wrote that question almost a year ago now. My first real interest in the US political system all because of the shock I felt at who became President. Cheers.
monte3 · 70-79, M
@Zoranna I have to get better at checking how fresh the original post is. But there are still too many candidates, but that will change after Iowa.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Probably, but at least having a large field with no clear front runner makes it more difficult for Russian trolls and GOP dirty trick operators to swiftboat them this early.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Exactly. @DunningKruger
Pfuzylogic · M
I haven’t been able to watch the news because every time I turn it on donnie screws something up. Last time he failed on missle talks. I hate the US being the laughing stock of the world.

Bring those fresh faces on!

I’m sure there is one more spot on the saddle for you.

No worries, you just enjoy that cowboy!
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Sorry for my ignorance but doesn't a Democratic government mean anybody can run for office?
Hdryder555 · 61-69, M
@Thevy29 pretty much,
Zoranna · F
@Thevy29 You're right of course they can, but it's seems chaotic at the moment to me.

not really there just too many politicians running for office i find most politicians are from a different planet they have no clue how real
people live
Zoranna · F
@olderuncle944 I agree but with his ridiculous bravado he's treating it almost as a badge of honour. Thoroughly odious man who has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He won't be convicted but I hope to hell the voters get out there in November and we see the last of him.
olderuncle944 · 70-79, M
@Zoranna i have often wondered when would a sitting president have time to run our country when he is busy tweeting every few minutes like some teenage girl sadly people are gullible ,its funny its been proven we had Russian interference in 2016 and sir Donald has nothing but good to say about Putin,
Zoranna · F
@olderuncle944 I know, he's a moron and such an embarrassment to your Country. His language, demeanour, obvious lack of diplomacy, knowledge and history is shocking. His malignant nacissism is blatantly obvious that I'm astounded his "base" either can't or refuse to see it.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Yeah, but on the other hand the Republicans had even more running in 2016. Plus with Clinton selected so early she simply became a target for the right. How many investigations did they start?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@monte3 so does free universal healthcare. There's empirical evidence from other countries.......so why don't you just go for the larger step?
monte3 · 70-79, M
You are talking to someone who though Hillary was more electable than Sanders last time so take that in to account. I understand how well this works in Denmark say, but I am hoping to avoid being readical to win WI and MI.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@monte3 I really don't know why you think that Hillary was in any shape or.form a better candidate than sanders? Surely her record on Libya and just the fact she gave 2 speeches to Goldman Sachs for $600,000 each shows her true colours? And there's plenty more.......her "super predator" comments (although quite a while back)?
olderuncle944 · 70-79, M
before i voted for who i thought would do the best job now i vote for who will do the least amount of damage im happy to be independent voter i can think for my self no along some party lines
Zoranna · F
@olderuncle944 So glad to hear that. What amazed me was no sooner was the election over but the campaigning started again. Being Australian I have no say but I sincerely hope Trump is not elected for another 4 years, and I'm considered a conservative voter here. No comparison political wise with USA.
olderuncle944 · 70-79, M
@Zoranna i suspect that most people could not you the difference between liberals and conservatives or democrats and republicans i have ask a few people to tell me the difference not one of them could but they would swear that who ever they voted for was the best
JT123 · M
Well Bernie is in there for the same reason as before, to weed out everyone else, take a fall, and get their dirtiest candidate to run. Last time it was Hillary. This time I suspect Chief Warren!
TexChik · F
And each wants to out do the other when it comes to destroying America. It’s raining promises of free stuff and slavery reparations . 🙄🙄🙄
hillary and bernie probably think so
Zoranna · F
@approachingmyexpirationdate Bernie shouldn't run in my opinion, for what it's worth. He's just a distraction.
@Zoranna and not being mean, but his age is a factor.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
It's like an all you can eat buffet. There is no limit.
Zoranna · F
@MarkPaul Seems so.
..... and they are all completely and utterly batshit wacky! Perfect!
Hdryder555 · 61-69, M
They are running to be chosen as the Democratic candidate, the Republicans in their "infinite" wisdom have already chosen trump to be the Republican candidate
it kinda seems like maybe. esp when most of the platform for many of them kinda seems to be 'not him!'
SW-User
Except Bernie, they don't have a single candidate who can make any strong impact, till now at least.
lizzy96 · 26-30, F
Half them will probably be gone by the beginning of 2020
monte3 · 70-79, M
Probably, but after IA and New Hampshire there will be a lot less.
DonaldTrumpet · 70-79, M
ThE mOREs THE MeriEr
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
I think you misspelled erection
Zoranna · F
@MartinTheFirst Thanks for the laugh, I really chuckled at that. 😄
Zonuss · 41-45, M
No. Usually it is about a dozen people or slightly more.
But it doesnt matter.
Elections are irrelevant.
They already have chosen who they want to win in 2020.
The elites that is. 🙂
Zonuss · 41-45, M
There probably is. But as long as the economy is good, the US will be fine.
We may have to keep Trump in for 4 more years. 🙂
Unquestioned · 70-79, M
Long live free speech.
