@Rhodesianman July 2017. I went to volunteer at the hospital, orphanage and schools.

What a shame you should have gone before Mugabe destroyed it . It was a beautiful country .Sadly it will take years to repair the damage he did in such a short time and that's only if they can get a decent government which they sadly lack at the moment .

@Rhodesianman Things were pretty bad when I was there. We had armed guards at night. But, I did help raise a lot of money to keep the hospital open. And Victoria Falls was amazing! [image deleted]

@SweetMae Yes Vic falls is amazing something they couldn't spoil

@Rhodesianman I wonder how long they will be able to keep their parks going. Or even protect their wildlife.

@SweetMae apparently I heard rumours there was little wildlife left due to poaching .

@Rhodesianman It has been a big problem there.

@SweetMae Yes when it was Rhodesia even through the war years we had a handle on it . Within a few years of mugabes rule everything went to hell in a handbag .
