Oh yes!! And then she braided it so tight my eyes were slanted for an hour afterwards.

Oh yes . I was her adopted daughter. Her son had passed about 10 years before I entered her life . She always wanted a daughter and so she took joy in brushing my hair , teaching me about eye brows, bras , cycles , painting my nails . Also she found immense joy in playing with my hair styles and dressing me up . I enjoyed her attention and her anecdotal stories and pearls of wisdom she shared with me . I finally convinced her that those stiff boar bristle brushes we a bit too much . 😉

If you didn`t hold still she whack your head with it. 😊

My hairbrush was similar, like a steel brush and then my dad would brush my hair with it like he was cleaning oil off the garage floor.

I have a hairbrush similar to this one. I like the way they make my scalp feel personally.😉

These were the worse, thankfully forgot about them 🙂
