Do your parents talk a lot?

We can’t stop by and pick up the mail without avoiding an hourlong chat. I have things to do. And my dad won’t even hand me my mail until he feels like it. Doesn’t he have someone to talk to? They are others. 🙄

My Mom talks a lot but she’s pretty fun to talk to. My Dad is more the silent type that only talks here and there.

My dad is mean. I tell him I have to go this week and he hides the mail? I see him every week. Plus we talk on the phone, at least twice a week, and we text. So, it’s not like we’re not in touch. I do have a life. When I say I have to go it means I really have to go. It doesn’t mean I can stay and sit with you while you sit on your ass and do nothing. @DarkHeaven
