Why do people have to be rude when they don't agree with your opinion/question/post? it's ok not to have the same opinion but what makes them be rude

@VeronicaJane am sure of that.. but it makes me stop being vocal about my freedom of expressing here then.. things i get to share here are the things i cant be saying to people otherwise.. and thats the only reason why am here.. but nobody understands.. if you dont like whats going on in my life then just ignore my post.. why do you have to respond and spread hatred for no reason.. :( sad but am glad there are people like you in this world who know what respect means.. It is sad that the practice of civil discourse seems to becoming a lost art.

We don't necessarily agree, but I can understand why you are doing what you are.

We can discuss civilly.

You are right. One of the huge attractions is anonyminity and being able to say/ask things we might not dare IRL.

Sadly, some people choose to use this same anonyminity as a cloak to flame others, often doing things that they themselves might not do IRL.

Of course, this being SW, you can always resort to mute/block as a means of self protection.

@LongHairedCougar from an external point of view, it's like a mass insecurity...I have this world view in my head and don't you dare destroy it with other viewpoints... If that makes any sense
