Which year was your best summer? And WHY?

I can't complain, they get better and better every year.

The summer of '76. ⭐ I dated a guy who was a lead guitar player. His brother and cousins were band members too. Word got around that they were one of the best "garage bands" around and they got to play on the Queen Mary docked in Long Beach, CA. I got to sing my favorite song with him that night.😌🎶It was magic! 💓

I was young. living away from home. Earning good money. Meeting loads of good people. Great social life. Did things and experienced things that would often leave me going....."WOW !"

2006? Maybe. I can’t remember he exact year. Anyway. My family didn’t have TV growing up-we had books. That summer we had our annual reading competition-it was more of a triathlon for reading really 😆 I don’t remember why it was so fun, but we all had a blast. My dad wasn’t a big reader but he participated in that one. Good times.

2013. I hung out with my best friend all summer and had lots of fun.
