What's the worst you've ever been injured?

When I was 15, I was riding in the backseat of a friend's car and I wasn't wearing a seat belt because we were passing around some 🌱 and it was inconvenient when it was my turn to take a hit and had to reach for it with a belt on. With my bad luck, a truck ended up running a red light and t-boned our car and sent me flying into the door. I ended up breaking four ribs and dislocating my shoulder on the impact. But I didn't feel any pain when it happened at first because I was knocked out immediately when my head slammed into the window, so that worked out I guess 😅. Also needed 10 stitches in my head from that. Since that day, I always wear a seat belt when I'm in a car no matter what, and I highly recommend you do the same.

when I was a kid I crawled into a thorn bush while playing and I got all tangled in it and my hair got all caught and my head and face got all cut up due to me panicking and trying to get out.. not a overly bad injury but kinda traumatic since I was stuck in there for what felt like forever screaming and crying till my dad found me and had to cut me out.. ehh I loathe thorn bushes

@PlumBerries Yeah, my grandma should have just bought me an xbox so that I probably wouldn't have spent so much time rough housing outside, would have saved me a lot of pain lol.

Flat lining twice during major surgery. Pretty bad maybe. Medical science is awesome these days.

@Roflcash4 yes. 🙂 it's more common than you think. Unless you specifically ask or get your surgery notes they are unlikely to volunteer the information, it's not in the patients best interest. Unless of course some life changing harm resulted. Memory less etc.

Sorry to hear. I’ve been in a couple of car accidents but nothing like that. I broke my finger playing basketball. That’s about it.

@Spoiledbrat You were probably smart enough to wear a seat belt in your car accidents lol, my dumb self had to learn the hard way. And only the best players break fingers in basketball, Kobe won an NBA championship while playing with a broken finger.

I was once skateboarding and wiped out breaking my ankle in the process. The bone came out and looked pretty freaky.

I broke my hip in 2011, and it was broken for seven months and had to be replaced. I think that's probably my worst haha.
