I was in the Coast Guard , The first thing you learn is water won't melt you The second thing is no one call's the Coast Guard when everything is swell You get called when all hell is breaking lose and you are their only hope . Hurricanes and lightning storms and hail with no head gear , While their vessel is on fire or sinking and the water is unforgiving . but if your burned ,half beat to death by hail ,even fish jumping out of the water knocking you down ,or the vessel trying to sink taking you down with it ,and you still have to face more waves that look like mountains before your seeing the security of land again . Its all worth it if you get to save the day and lose no one . And if you do ,you have to face thats part of it too ,we don't win them all .
yea ,take my word for it ,being beat on with headgear on rain soaked land is still a better way to experience it Some have to while they are at sea trying to save someones life ,in a storm .
@monimathu It had its moments ,and a few of them I thought this is it today my story ends here ,especially when I myself was swept out to sea with no life jacket . But its a life of sadness and reward ,,but that hail hurts like hell if it hits you just right ,especially when your hauling butt and catch one . I have seen them take out windshields and make a car look like it was beat with a hammer , Not something most people want to feel without a good reason to be in it And the stones are predicted to get much bigger Stay safe my friend ,don't tempt fate have a good one
