Has anyone ever had a horribly frustrating experience trying to terminate a relationship with a business or company?

I just had a nightmare experience with T Mobile. I ported my number over to Comcast/Xfinity in April because I am saving $15.00 a month with them. I paid my last T- Mobile bill, and thought I was done, but T Mobile kept billing me. I had to call twice to get an answer as to why they were still billing me. The first time I was told, incorrectly, that my account had been sent to collections. The second time I called, I was told, correctly, that my account had not ported over to Xfinity until I was ONE DAY into T Mobile's new billing cycle....so they were billing me for a full NEW month for that one day. I was very angry about that. I seemed to me like that was what we call a BIG SUCK.

But.....I paid the bill using my online banking account on May 11th. It was due on May 27th, so I thought I was okay.

Today I received a NEW bill from T Mobile. "Oh....I gotcha now", I thought. "I can print out my receipt from my online payment". I went onto my online payment site and found that the payment had been cancelled, without explanation. I couldn't get through to my bank to ask why. When they say high call volumes, they mean Mars.

I called the number on the T Mobile bill...I just wanted to PAY THE FREAKING BILL!!!! I got the computer. He did not like it that I wanted to pay using check by phone, and tried to transfer me. The most horrible music on the planet began to blare in my ear. It sounded like extremely loud static meets drums meets India. Then they told me they had a call volume out to Pluto, so I hung up.

I will fix these people, I thought. I will pay my bill on their website. But no. Because my account had been cancelled the online website would not allow me to sign up using my old phone number and there was no place to use an account number.

I called the payment line again....and swore at the computer recording using the worst language I knew, because I THOUGHT I would outsmart him and just use my credit card...BUT he could not understand me, and tried to transfer me again to the Pluto line....the line with the "I wish I was dead!" music.

I waited a little while, calmed down, and tried Computer Man again. This time, I turned off the fan, and the television, and enunciated my credit card number VERY clearly! Success!!!! Then he tried to give me a confirmation number. I had no pen. I finally found a pen, but he had already repeated the confirmation number for the second time, and I missed it. I tried to get the computer to repeat the confirmation number, BUT he could not understand, and just wanted to transfer me to Pluto again.

So...I THINK my full months' bill for one day of service is paid. It has only taken me four phone calls, five counting the one to my bank and an abortive online attempt.

Anyone want to bet me a dollar that T Mobile will bill me again next month? Betcha two dollars I get sent to collection.

AT&T took FOR EV ER to stop billing me. I think they sent me 3 or 4 paper bills with a zero balance. I wasn't going to call them....it was just too much fun to enjoy the display of ineptitude.

@uncalled4 You should frame them and offer to sell them to Verizon!!!! LOLOL!!!
