@SW-User Right wing people are always likely to resist, to some extent, but equality seems quite firmly entrenched in society right now. I'm in the UK, though, so America may be different. The most recent political change in America can't have helped the feminist cause!

@SW-User People who believe in god are probably in the minority nowadays, in first world countries anyway. The days of religious oppression are slipping away now and people are free to choose without interference from the religious community.
