Do you like scary movies? (Silent Hill)

I'm not really a fan of them and generally just walk on by, it was the cover pictures that caught my eye, the scenery reminded me of the town I used to live in Jerome Az. (Jerome has it's own horrific past especially the fire that just about destroyed everyone and everything

Silent Hill has it's own creepy story if you're okay with setting aside logic and reality. perpetual burning fires and burning people, (Loved the smoldering nurses scene) You don't have to content yourself with one creepy monsters, the place is literally crawling with them. The monsters are in themselves works of art, you really have to appreciate the time and attention to detail.

*spoiler alert* If you require "Lived happily ever after" skip this one. I'm generally not prone to talking about movies but this one exceeded my expectations.

You lived in Jerome? I went through there once on my way back from Sedona. What a cool town! I always meant to go back and stay, but never did.
@SW-User Hi honey, yup I did, check out my post above this one, it's the most wonderful place I ever lived in. (((HUGS)))
It certainly was a unique horror film. The main building in it was filmed not too far from me. Alma College in St. Thomas was used in it. It was burned down by some young punks. Coincidentally you mentioned a fire too. I will have to watch it again. It only improves with repeated viewings.
@PoetryNEmotion If you get as chance, watch the making of Silent Hill, gave me a lot of respect for the creativity and attention to detail, having seen that I had to watch the movie again. Oh, you may want to check out The Jerome Az. "Grand Hotel" it was done over by a friend of mine, it was the former hospital where so many of the miners and their families died and is considered to be one of the most haunted places in America. The town of Jerome is also highly populated by Wiccan women and the men of the town take great care that they are protected from over zealous "Christians"...a great place to live and explore.
