Why would you ever let your inner kid die?

I finally fully rediscovered mine today and I’m never letting go! Getting older doesnt mean ya gotta be a boring stick-up-the-ass the rest of your life, go play! Get moving!

My deceased Papa confessed one beery evening that he'd hit 21 and stopped growing. He was a Rat of Tobruk and lied about his age to get into the army. He was 16 when he signed up. Saw some things that a 16yr old should just not see.
Dear god. That's a horrifying thought. My answer is Hell Nah
l thought your question said "Would you ever...". I missed the "why" part.
Perhaps letting their inner kid out is too difficult for some people, and so it dies from neglect.

Problem is, my inner kid tended to be of the very juvenile delinquently variety, while the jail system is a lot less kind in that regard. Besides now I have a lot more money and far better toys.

@SakuraShimeji You can be a functioning adult with the energy of a child, it's hard but not at all impossible.
