If Ipods existed in the early 90's, I would have been in heaven

if it did, as the 90s was probably the last blast of an album meant something beyond the selling of singles - music would probably be in a sadder state then now. Imagine a time, where an artist thought and took time to depict their feelings through a continuous album, like a story, knowing if it's going to be POP there has to be one or two songs that count ... now they do what?
