Why do some people are hard to move from past issues?

Earlier this day, I was qeueing my way to the movie theatre and here's this arrogant jerk who saw me, he stopped and stare for a long time. I knew and he knew I saw him but I didn't mind, I even just walk away. His stare is telling me that he did not moved on from the issue which happened a year ago.

He was my co teacher from other department in which a job I left last year. The cause of issue was one if his students bullied our event by making a nasty facebook post. I believe so it has to be confronted offline if they aren't satisfied with the experience. To protect my student's interest and motivation I requested the student who made the post to visit my office and ask for appology...but then that arrogant teacher didn't allow his student to do so and set a condition in which I have to wrote a formal letter stating my complain and request..And I think he got a point and so I did because I want it to resolved. After sending a formal letter still there was no action and he created a boomerang on me. What the student did is a cyber crime..I was advise to file a case against him for tolerating and the student who made the post...but for the sake I did not. I was so disappointed with the administration who made a big consent out of hand.

I let it pass and made my student understand to grew on bigger corners. For others it turn out to be we were the fat losers and I didn't mind them because I believe so life has to get anywhere forward.

I can't believe he acts that way. In my mind, I have slap his face all through the floor a thousand times..why this idi*t has shown me gestures only a fool can do..too bad some people think winning that way lol
some people have to win at all costs....I don't understand that type of thinking its not as if they get a prize or trophy. idiots.

It's so tedious and tiring to hold onto a grudge like this. Even if he feels justified in acting immaturely, does his think his passive aggressive stance is going to do anything other than irritate you? He's deliberately making a bad situation worse.
