Early Morning Musings

Like a flame
Struck from the match
Enough to burn
Not enough to last

All my surface
Barely scratched
Into that flame
We've all been cast

Be it to wither ?
Be it to fly ?
Into the hells ?
Or through the sky ?

On clouds of heaven
These thoughts reside
A softer look
Within my eye

A gentle touch
A firm strong hand
Another lesson
Left uplanned

A ray of light
Upon you; land
Rainbows through your skies;
I am
