I Am Single

There are people who like being alone, maybe even love it. I enjoy my own space to be honest, but not all the time. We all need company at some point. True loners are people who embrace their alone time. Those who lash out are typically alone against their will and want to be included, want to be loved but feel excluded and rejected instead. When I'm alone I feel relaxed, perhaps in knowing I have valued friends who are there if I need them and a supportive family. If I didn't have these, I have no idea how I would feel but I do know on thing, I wouldn't mope at home complaining on a web site that I'm afraid I'll be alone forever. I would do my best to 'get out there' in the land of the living, and do something constructive. Possibly for others in some voluntary capacity. I do think more and more of us are opening embracing the single life, but maybe things will change. I don't want to be single forever I admit that. But if that is how my life turns out, no way will I recede to the fringes.
