I have been blessed to know some "Mail Order Brides "
they all said they of coarse did not love the men they married
but over the years they learned to
men who left them at home ,still cating around like they are single ,
in the pool hall every night ,off with the boys every hunting season ,fishing trips
while she was home alone raising kids ,great kids though
Later when even the waitress the man paid for a smile no longer gave him the time of day ,he came home to "Old Faithful " and finally became a man
they told me how hard it was at times and they missed their homes and families ,
but they made a promise to God ,to love this man for better or worse ,sickness and health ,richer or poor ,until death do they part ,
She was keeping her promise to God
they said they fell in and out of love with their men a million times
but once He grew a spine ,and became the man she prayed for
she and her family were happy
when one died ,the other was soon to follow ,,
they had never known anyone else ,and they fulfilled their promise to God
So I am not sure love at first is required ,
I have married 2 women ,,one I was with 3 years before I married her
the other only 6 months ,,but both I only knew what they wanted me to know
my first wife was with many men before me ,my second I was her first ,
the first lasted 10 years but married only 7
the second was for 7 ,,,may last real love 7 1/2
I now think God wanted me to know He gave them ,He took them away
the last one almost killed me loosing her
I now think we lack what the mail order Brides had
the willingness to stick it out no matter what
so my ex's started over with a new man ,and all asked to come back ,,
but I do not take women back who can trow me away ,even if I do still love her with all my heart ,she was with another ,to me she is defiled
I did not care how many before me ,but when you mate with me
I am an alpha male ,its suppose to be for life and a promise to God is a covenant
maybe someone will get something out of all this
