Are you creeped out by spiders and ,do they make your skin crawl?

I encountered a very large wolf spider tonight. It's leg touched my hand near the light switch. I guess you could say I scared my poor cats with my loud screech. I am not easily frightened but I don't like spiders very much at all.

I had a wolf spider living in my basement mancave that always alluded me whenever I went after him..one time I was napping on my couch and when I woke up, he was on the back of the couch looking at me..I swatted at him and he fell on the floor....the chase was on..he was about the size of a quarter so wasn't real big..well, I cornered him, he turned toward me and raised up on his back legs like he was trying to intimate me or something..hahahahahahaha...I thought "nice try but your time is up"...he was no match for my slipper...

@sensualbeauty1: well, this one was stalking me..there is no "garden" in my mancave..he wanted the mancave all to himself!! If he had stayed put in the ceiling, I wouldn't have bothered him..but the moment he came down to the couch, he crossed the line...

@sensualbeauty1: he would watch me from the safety of the dropped ceiling...when I'd go after him, he'd escape up inside the ceiling...he was a crafty one...

@RisingPhoenix Well that's a good thought. Although they still make my skin crawl. Only the big ones though. I kind of like the zebra spiders. They're small and delicate. 😊

I dislike spiders but I tend to leave them alone. Those long bathroom critters makes me freeze. Cockroaches make me shriek. But im getting so used to bugs I just... KILL THEM ALL.

@ScarletWitch: I've never encountered any cockroaches but those milepedes or centipedes are nasty looking insects. I captured the spider in a glass and chucked it out as I didn't have the heart to kill it. 😕

I love spiders but I'll always be a little scared of them. I think its in my programming.

@Allelse: I don't mind bugs in general it's just when they touch me with one of their multiple legs that it tends to freak me out a little.

@Mugmebot: Spiders are very beneficial to gardens and for eating other bugs. I just don't like them too close. 😕
