which one would you consider as if losing a "valuable"

what is the thing you would regret the most if you had to give it up or you lost it?

for the first option i'm talking about a necklace you've been wearing for 20 years or perhaps a ring of loyalty to your spouse [even if its cheaper than the 2nd option] or maybe an item you've been using every that is still very funtional and your loyalty is attached to it

the second option is something expensive and brand new, you wanted it and you wanted to replace your loyal gadget with the new, did you feel that you just sold/threw away a huge part of yourself?
